Welcome to SYEDALI CONSULTING LIMITED! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our electrical services and your relationship with SYEDALI CONSULTING LIMITED ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in the United Kingdom.

By requesting or receiving any services from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Services Provided

SYEDALI CONSULTING LIMITED provides a range of professional electrical services, including but not limited to:

  • Residential Electrical Services
  • Commercial Electrical Solutions
  • Industrial Electrical Services
  • Energy Efficiency Consulting
  • Electrical installations, repairs, maintenance, and upgrades
  • Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
  • Consumer unit upgrades
  • Rewiring services
  • Lighting solutions
  • Electrical testing and inspection (e.g., EICR)

All services are carried out by qualified and certified electricians in accordance with relevant UK standards and regulations (e.g., BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations).

2. Quotes and Pricing

2.1. Quotations: All quotations provided by SYEDALI CONSULTING LIMITED are based on the information provided by the client and our assessment of the work required. Quotes are valid for a specified period (e.g., 30 days) and may be subject to change if the scope of work changes or unforeseen issues arise.

2.2. Estimates: Where an estimate is provided, it is an approximation of the cost and may vary depending on the actual work performed and materials used. We will always inform you of any significant deviations from an estimate.

2.3. Additional Works: Any additional work requested by the client or deemed necessary during the service delivery, which was not included in the original quote, will be subject to additional charges. We will obtain your approval before proceeding with such additional works.

2.4. Pricing: Our pricing will be communicated to you clearly in the quote or estimate. It typically includes labour and materials, unless otherwise specified.

3. Payment Terms

3.1. Invoicing: Invoices for services rendered will be issued upon completion of the work or as per agreed payment milestones for larger projects.

3.2. Payment Due Date: Payment is due within [e.g., 7, 14, 30] days from the date of the invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3.3. Late Payments: We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue payments at a rate of [e.g., 8]% above the Bank of England base rate, compounded daily, as well as recovery costs, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

3.4. Deposits: For certain projects, a deposit may be required before work commences. This will be clearly stated in the quote or agreement.

4. Client Responsibilities

4.1. Access: You must provide our electricians with safe and clear access to the work area at the agreed times.

4.2. Information Accuracy: You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about the electrical system and any specific requirements or hazards relevant to the work.

4.3. Permits and Permissions: Unless otherwise agreed, you are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits, permissions, or consents required for the electrical work to be carried out on your property.

4.4. Safe Environment: You must ensure a safe working environment for our electricians, free from hazards not directly related to the electrical work.

5. Guarantees and Warranties

5.1. Workmanship: We guarantee our workmanship for a period of [e.g., 12 months] from the date of completion of the service. This guarantee covers defects arising directly from our work.

5.2. Materials: Materials and parts supplied by us are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, where applicable. We will assist you in making a claim under such warranties.

5.3. Exclusions: Our guarantee does not cover defects or damage caused by misuse, alterations, repairs by third parties, normal wear and tear, or external factors beyond our control (e.g., power surges, acts of nature).

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1. Direct Loss: SYEDALI CONSULTING LIMITED will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the services; (c) any content obtained from the services; and (d) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

6.2. Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the services provided, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

6.3. Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond our reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labour or materials.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

7.1. Cancellation by Client: If you need to cancel or reschedule a service appointment, please notify us at least [e.g., 24-48] hours in advance. Cancellations made with less notice may incur a cancellation fee.

7.2. Cancellation by SYEDALI CONSULTING LIMITED: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., electrician illness, severe weather, material shortages). We will notify you as soon as possible and work with you to find an alternative time.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to our services, website content, and any proprietary tools or methods remain the property of SYEDALI CONSULTING LIMITED or its licensors.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the services.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our services, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have had between us regarding the services.
